Terms of use

Effective September 21, 2026

Calythe is pre-release software. These terms describe the current pre-release experience and should be reviewed with qualified legal counsel before a public commercial launch.

Using Calythe

You may use Calythe for lawful work on files and projects you are authorized to access. You remain responsible for reviewing suggestions, approvals, generated output, and any changes applied to your project. Calythe is an assistant, not a substitute for your professional judgment. Calythe Agent can change files, run commands and act on services you connect; it asks first according to the approval mode you choose, you are responsible for the mode you pick, and in Full access commands run without asking.

AI providers and costs

You choose any connected model provider and supply your own credentials. Your use of that provider is governed by its terms, policies, availability, and charges. Calythe’s local cost estimates are informational and may not match a provider’s invoice.

Local data and backups

Calythe stores project memory locally and may create backups, portable memory bundles, and shared-folder snapshots when you request them. You are responsible for your project data, backups, storage choices, and access permissions. Do not rely on an AI-generated change without reviewing the displayed diff and preserving your own backups.

Acceptable use

Do not use Calythe to violate law, infringe rights, bypass security controls, access data without authorization, or harm people or systems. Do not upload or expose secrets unless you understand the consequences of sending them to a selected provider; Calythe’s safeguards reduce risk but cannot eliminate it.

Availability and changes

Pre-release features may change, stop working, or be removed. Calythe may update these terms when the product or its data practices change. Continued use after an updated effective date means you accept the updated terms to the extent permitted by law.

Disclaimers and liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Calythe is provided “as is” and “as available,” without a guarantee that output is correct, complete, secure, or suitable for a particular purpose. Nothing here excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded, including applicable consumer protections.
