The in-app updater checks the release signature and checksum before installing an update.

Try it early.
Help shape it.

Tell us why you want to beta test, what you’ll use Calythe for, which model you’ll connect, and your Windows version.

The pre-release is shared with a small group first. Accepted testers receive a beta key for the Windows download.

Apply for beta access

Before you start.

What do I need to run it?

A 64-bit Windows 10 or Windows 11 computer, a writable project folder, and a supported model connection. The app uses Microsoft Edge WebView2, included with Windows 11 and current Windows 10 installations.

Do I need a beta key?

Yes. Use “Ask for access” to apply by email. If you already have a key, enter it in the download card.

How do updates work?

Update from inside the app. It checks the signed release and checksum, keeps your chats and settings, and can restore the previous version if a new version fails to start.

Where is my data stored?

Your account, project memory and settings are stored locally. Your chosen model provider processes the context sent to it.
